Hunter: a very thoughtful dog.
All About Hunter
Hunter was born in the wilds of the Bahamas to a stray mommy and an absent father. Raising 5 puppies alone was too much for his mommy, so they were all rescued and came to live at Buddy Dog. At Buddy Dog they named Hunter "Bubba," but whereas Hunter had never even been to Texas he decided to change his name to something more dignified. Fortunately his first owners agreed, even if they didn't seem to agree with his need for lots of exercise and strong leadership.
Hunter got tired of spending 20 hours a day in a crate, so he returned to Buddy Dog until Esme came to get him. He was so determined to go home with Esme that when nobody else was listening he sang her a lovely yodeling song and he tamed her by staring into her eyes without blinking once.
Hunter is living a happy life now, though keeping Esme in line is still a bit of a challenge for him.
All About Twinkie
Twinkie is Hunter's dog. When the other dogs at the dog park got too stupid to play with Hunter he knew he would have to have his own private dog to play with. His first choice was a big black dog named "Midnight," but Esme worried that there wasn't room in the house for two big dogs. Instead Esme insisted on bringing home a dopey little bitch named "Twinkie."
Nobody knows where Twinkie came from. She just appeared one day at Buddy Dog stuffed inside a cardboard box. She had fleas and two infected ears, which Hunter thought was pretty dopey of her, so she got those fixed before she came home to live with Hunter.
Twinkie is a very fast little dog, in fact she is the fastest dog in town, but she never runs ahead of Hunter. That is the only smart thing she does.
